Christmas gifts for the Men in your life. (SPON)

Every year I have the same dilemma, in fact I think it gets harder each year. Daniels got it easy if you ask me, my Christmas wish list is always the same and full of all the 'essentials' that I cant justify buying regularly through out the year. I like to think of myself as low(ish) maintenance although Daniel would probably argue otherwise, its just that women simply need more things then men. You would think that 14 Christmases down the line that I would know what to get Daniel by now, but I am honestly still just as clueless now as I was back then.

I'm hoping that by sharing with you some pieces from a firm favourite of mine, Walter & May that I may be able to help you with this impossible task: buying gifts for the men in your life. Walter & May are a fabulous website that take the stress out of online shopping, by congregating a truck load of independent brands all under one roof so to speak. I mean if I'm going to be able to pull of a special men's gift guide then I need all the help I can get, so here are some of the picks that I'm making this Christmas. Gifts that I'm hoping will be well received by the men in my life. Plus it makes a nice change from the usual socks and smellys. God men are hard to buy for!

I'm guilty of buying Daniel things that I also secretly want, I have been known to get him the odd photo frame or photo canvas which in reality is more of a gift for myself ha! Just because I run out of ideas mostly but also because when it comes too personalized products in the home its mostly the women that make the decorative decisions (well for us anyway) I like to add little bits that are geared to Daniel and his needs but still look nice. I have chosen this Bottle Opener because its something that Daniel would use, no more searching the cutlery drawer as its going to be on the wall. Its tasteful and beautifully made with English Oak (This should impress Daniel as hes a joiner) Its only £11.50, So thumbs up for gift number 1!

Another idea to pair with this is the Reclaimed beer cady which can be personalized with a name or other text, at just £28 it makes a fab gift. My plan is too buy some local bottles of beer with cool bottles to display.

Anyone else get tired of change being left around the house? Ha me too! Although I would prefer that to finding it in the washing machine. I spotted this Change holder, again its solid English Oak and I love how it looks, it can be personalized too. Items that are convenient and stylish are far and few between so I needed to get hold of this for the console table in the hallway (the prime spot for change dropping) It looks so in place and I'm thrilled with it! This item is just £12.50, the quality for the price is amazing!

Another pet hate for me is those god awful charging wires or earphones, I also spotted this Cable Tidy for just £3.00 and I thought it was such a simple but clever gift, perfect as a stocking filler.

This is another Solid wood product that caught my eye, it can again be personalized to suit. This Engraved Pork Buy serving board is just £12.50 and could even act as a cheese board too if you personalized with the word Cheese, just a thought.

I am in love with this Holdall bag, I have added Daniels initials for a personal touch and the colours are so perfect for Daniels style. If you have a man in your life that perhaps plays sport or spends time away with work etc then its perfect as the size of the bag is so much bigger than I imagined. Zipped compartments for smaller items, 2 different style and size straps so can be worn across the body or carried by hand too. This bag is £40, which again I think the quality is so great for the price! Another product with amazing value!

Another cool add on is this personalized Boot Bag, there's a selection of colour options and again it can be personalized as you wish. This bag is just £18.50.

Last but by no means least, this Personalised Coir Doormat is a fab buy and I guess you could say that this one is for the whole family but I would say its mostly for Daniels smelly muddy work boots! This is priced at £20.

I honestly can't get over the variety of men's products on the Walter and May site, its nice to see personalised items with thought behind them all made with English materials and all also provided by small businesses. If like me you pull your hair out trying to find gifts for men then give this link here a tap and see if you can find some unique gifts too.
